Perfect Vision Opticians is a family run independent opticians which prides itself on offering high levels of friendly customer service, value for money and honest advice. Perfect Vision has been established since 1983. The practice moved to Ferry Road, Hullbridge in July 2008.
Perfect Vision is one of the first practices in the country to offer 'Schoolvision' to it's young patients, a method that seeks to improve the way the eyes work together when performing near vision tasks such as reading.
Our aim is to dispel the myth that High street optical chains are cheaper than independents and we can achieve this because:
- Our business costs are comparatively low. For example, we do not have to pay high street property costs.
- We also spend relatively little on advertising as our customers promote our business for us.
The Perfect Vision Team
Karen A. Shadbolt FBDO, SMC (Tech), M.ASvP.
Karen has been working along side her father since 1997 and gained the qualification as a worshipful of Spectacle Makers in 2001 and qualified as a dispensing Optician in 2007. Karen is very passionate about helping people with dyslexia, visual stress and can offer assessments on 'SchoolVision' and Colorimetry (also known as Irlens Syndrome) and colour overlays.
Karen can also help select suitable frames for the patient (meaning frame fits and suits the patient in colour, shape/style, budget and is appropriate for the patient's prescription). Karen will provide impartial advice on the individual needs of the patient, advice on the need for any coatings on the lenses; adjusting the frame on collection to ensure it is comfortable to wear, advise on how the lenses work and how they should be used e.g. varifocals and bifocals, and repairs to the spectacles. We are happy to source a frame if you have particular design/colour in mind.
